Golden Crust is a baking app for beginner to novice bakers. Golden Crust offers a wide range of recipes for everyone's skills. This is the ultimate app for discovering, saving, and sharing recipes. The app features a customizable shopping list, seasonal recipes, and a community tips section to help in your kitchen.
Project Details
This baking app was designed to support and motivate new bakers as they build confidence and develop their skills. The project took 8 weeks. Interviews were conducted with a variety of bakers to understand what features they would find most helpful in a baking app. Two personas were created: one representing beginners who are just starting and may need extra guidance to stay motivated, and another representing experienced bakers who already understand the techniques and skills involved. By focusing on the needs of both audiences, especially new bakers, the app aims to create an engaging, supportive experience that encourages users to keep baking and enjoy the process.
